Letter: In Support of Rob Mallozzi and Nick Williams at Republican Caucus

Dear Editor,
I am writing this letter to declare my support for Rob Mallozzi and Nick Williams for the office of first selectman and selectman, respectively. But why support them (other than the obvious fact that I am Nick’s son)? I’ll tell you exactly why: I have had the opportunity to see first-hand while working on Capitol Hill for the last six months how ineffective government can be. The toxicity of partisan politics has fortunately not infected New Canaan, and there’s a reason for it—the principled leaders we have elected. Rather than engaging in petty personal quarrels or hyperbolic statements, Rob and Nick have engaged in proactive work for our town.
