Disorderly Charge for 39-Year-Old Man
|
Police last week arrested a 39-year-old Wilton man and charged him with disorderly conduct.
At about 6:40 p.m. on Nov. 25, police investigated a reported dispute between the man and victim, officials said. Through an investigation, officers established probable cause to arrest the man on the misdemeanor charge, according to a police report.
He was arrested at his home at about 8:30 p.m., the report said, and police took him to headquarters in New Canaan for processing. Under state law, people are guilty of disorderly conduct if they “with intent to cause inconvenience, annoyance or alarm, or recklessly creating a risk … [e]ngages in … threatening behavior; or … annoys or interferes with another person,” among other reasons. Police withheld details, saying this case was a domestic matter.
