  1. My condolences to Chuck’s family for their loss. If I recall correctly, Chuck was a ref for many local NC basketball games, and was respected by all who knew him. A nice man who contributed a great deal to many youth organizations. He will be missed.

  2. Charlie Milot was a good man and a gentleman. I had the pleasure of working under his leadership at the Lake Club when I was younger, and I remember him fondly. He set an example of quiet strength, and he treated everyone with respect. He was, truly, a man of “the greatest generation”. My condolences to the Milot family.

  3. Charlie Milot was such a special man! He ran the Lake Club beautifuly and we enjoyed so many summers there as a family. Such a special place and Charlie was a true gentleman
    ! Condolences to the Milots.

  4. When I think of Charlie the following come to mind: humility, integrity, honesty, warmth, compassion, hard working, family, and the very definition of a true Gentleman.
He managed The Lake Club quietly, but very effectively. He was a wonderful asset and resource to me when I was president of the Club.
He thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Members’ children grow up at the Club.
My family and I were honored to know Charlie. He will be missed.
