We have known Mike Rodgers in many contexts in our eleven years in New Canaan.  He has been our good neighbor, a fellow school parent – from East School through NCHS, a community volunteer and a deacon at the Congregational Church. Across all of these roles and in all our interactions, Mike has demonstrated a commitment to the community and a willingness to work to help others.  We heartily endorse Mike for Town Council. If elected, we know he will speak candidly and work diligently for our town.

  1. Being a Regan Democrat — who started to vote republican
I still have Democratic values — I change to republican cause
when I moved here 38 yrs ago went to a democrat caucus only 29 people there 6 were running for office
went to a republican caucus 1,600 people — so if you want your vote to count you change parties

Democrats still get a voice — state law mandates that the minority Pary get 33% representations on TC’s and BOS — so you will never see 12 out of 12 republicans on the TC

Things have changed today more independents — but they cannot affect
their will on who gets picked to run

they should think about that — or have open primaries

All the people running are good people — but we have to hear from them on how they would vote on Issue — like the 300 million for the 4th school

I will be sending a letter of endorsement soon which will tell you to vote for all incumbents first — and the reason why —
and yes, good luck to Mike Rogers
