Police late Monday arrested a 21-year-old West Haven woman by warrant and charged her with sixth-degree larceny.
On April 6, officers took a complaint about the woman using a victim’s PayPal account without permission for an unauthorized $400 transaction, according to a police report.
Police conducted an investigation and secured a warrant to arrest the woman on the misdemeanor charge.
It’s unclear whether the victim knew the arrested woman or how she obtained access to that person’s PayPal account.
Police took custody of the woman on Aug. 16 at the West Haven Police Department. She was arrested at about 11:30 p.m.
She was held on $2,500 bond and scheduled to appear in state Superior Court.
