We’ve just been to What’s Done Is Done by the Town Players of New Canaan at the Powerhouse. We enjoyed it a great deal. It’s a simple play, with two characters and a simple set. The writing and the acting held our interest for the full 70 minutes without intermission. Two people, formerly married for 30 years, catch up, reminisce, argue, confess, and carry on. We laughed, we learned, and we may have shed a tear. What’s Done Is Done will play again August 31 at the Powerhouse, and there are six other Broadway Bound Theater Festival 2024 new plays that will be performed at the Powerhouse between August 8 and September 1 as noted on the TPNC website calendar — perhaps one that we see will be on Broadway. They’re in New Canaan, with lots for volunteer energy and talent, inexpensive, with lots of free parking, and you get home early.

Thanks for your kind words Peter. The festival deserves the support of the New Canaan community.
