Police last week arrested a 30-year-old Norwalk man and charged him with drinking while driving.
At about 9:45 p.m. on Feb. 11, an officer on patrol stopped a vehicle on Route 123 near Old Norwalk Road after observing the vehicle moving at a slow speed, according to a police report.
Following the motor vehicle stop and investigation, police determined that the motorist was drinking alcohol while driving the car, the report said.
The man was not intoxicated, it said.
He was charged with the misdemeanor offense and also cited for operating a motor vehicle too slowly.
Police released the man after he promised to appear March 11 in state Superior Court.
