The town last week received an application to build a new 5,900-square-foot home on a vacant .99-acre lot.
The five-bedroom home planned for 311 Mill Road will cost about $700,000 to build, according to the building permit application.
It will include a new driveway, site work and retaining walls at its rear yard, and an open patio out in its front yard, the application said. To be built by Wilton-based Harbor Property Development, the home will have four full bathrooms, one half-bath, a finished half-story attic and unfinished basement. It will have 15 total rooms, as well as one wood-burning and one gas fireplace, the application said.
The home is designed by Kevin Quinlan Architecture LLC of Wilton.
The lot had been purchased in July for $539,880, according to its assessor field card.
