Duo Fendrick & Peck Perform Lively Outdoor Concert at New Canaan Library

Saturday, June, 10, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free

New Canaan Library is pleased to have popular folk, blues and bluegrass duo Fendrick & Peck return for an outdoor summer concert, Saturday, June 10 at 1 p.m. The concert takes place in Christine’s Garden, located next to the Library on the corner of South Avenue and Maple Avenue. Please register for this free event online at newcanaanlibrary.org.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs if they prefer to sit. If weather doesn’t permit an outdoor concert, the event will be held in the Curtis Gallery.

Madeline Fendrick &Brian Peck’s neo-traditionalist folk music is a pleasing concoction of mature lyrics with delicate melodies, exquisite harmonies, and a dash of old school. This charismatic duo uses the simplicity of their natural voices, vintage instruments (guitars, mandolin, tenor banjo, and fiddle) and storytelling to give insight on what matters most to them: a sense of peace and acceptance in this world. Fendrick and Peck’s music encompasses and celebrates many genres, including folk, blues and bluegrass, with freshness and originality.
