This Sunday at 4pm, New Canaan’s Clare Ayoub is hosting a free screening of her movie EMPIRE WAIST at the Triangle Community Center in Norwalk (650 West End Ave), followed by a Q&A the audience to ask any questions about the movie and filmmaking/the arts. 

The event is great for anyone ages 10+ and there’s no need to RSVP. 

As Ayoub shared in a recent newsletter, she is sponsoring 10 free screenings and talkbacks for LGBTQ+ and low-income nonprofits across the U.S. who have been impacted by funding cuts. Her team uses screenings to share the story, emphasizing that 1) members of these communities are safe and loved — exactly as they are — and 2) to raise funds for the organizations so they can continue their vital work.
