The New Canaan Farmers Market’s winter market is open at the New Canaan Nature Center’s greenhouse from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays, weather permitting.

While you’re shopping in the greenhouse, look for fun activities from the Nature Center for the little ones, including:

• February 17: Ms. Lizzie and her guitar for a sing along (1:00-1:45)
• March 17: Boil Down out at the Sugar Shack and possibly a maple-themed craft (all day)
• March 31: Bee Antenna craft as a celebration of spring (all day)

The Nature Center also hosts a weekly story hour.

The Farmers Market is holding weekly market basket drawings, so customers can enter for a chance to win a fun filled market basket, no purchase necessary.

There will also be the planting of the peas with the little ones on March 17th, to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day.
