New Canaan Library is offering a new, stimulating twist on the literary experience with a Short Story Meet Up series, beginning Wednesday, June 27. It’s summer, and schedules are busy, but this unique offering lets one experience great literature without a huge time commitment. Please register for each session online at newcanaanlibrary.org.

Led by Carroll Stenson, a Discussion Facilitator, the meet ups will take place on consecutive Wednesdays at 11 a.m. in the Curtis Gallery, June 27 through July 25. The short story to be discussed will be available for pick-up in the library one week prior to the meet up. Participants will discuss the story for its meanings, messages, themes, and how the text might relate to their own life. For those in attendance, the story for the following week will be given out at the end of each session.
