All silent auction bidding ends at 12 pm on Sunday, November 10.

All proceeds go to benefit the New Canaan YMCA Aquianas Synchronized Swimming Team and this is the team’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

The New Canaan YMCA Aquianas Synchronized Swim Team has been in existence for over 35 years and is one of the top synchronized swim programs in the country. The Aquianas currently have over 70 swimmers comprising two junior age group teams, two 13-15 age group teams, a 12 & under team, three intermediate teams and a pre-team. Last year our 13-15 age group team placed second in overall team points at US Nationals. 4 of the Aquianas swimmers qualified and were selected to be on the US National team. Furthermore, 3 out of 4 of our teams won medals at Junior Olympics.

From our introductory “fish” class to our nationally ranked Junior team, the goal of our team is to offer each swimmer an opportunity to be a part of the team and build their skills. We are a YMCA program, and pride ourselves on developing champion athletes and champion individuals. The Aquianas are known for their respectfulness, responsibility, courtesy and work ethic in and out of the pool.
We are a non-profit club under the support of the New Canaan YMCA. A
ll proceeds from the auction are used to fund a grant for families who otherwise couldn’t afford to have their children on the team and to further support our team by bringing in special coaches/choreographers.
