SLOBs New Member Meeting

New Member Meeting: Wednesday, September 12, 7:00pm in the NCHS Cafeteria

An orientation meeting for boys interested in joining the Service League of Boys (SLOBs), a community service based group for New Canaan High School boys and their parents, will be held on Wednesday, September 12, at 7:00 pm in the NCHS cafeteria.

SLOBs is the largest club at NCHS and works to foster the parent-son relationship within a philanthropic organization committed to community service and leadership development. With more than 200 boys enrolled, SLOBs members and their parents have served over 32,000 hours since the organizations inception in 2004. SLOBs assists a wide variety of philanthropies in New Canaan and the surrounding communities, including the New Canaan Food Bank, Filling in the Blanks, The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
