YogaMass at St. Mark’s
Saturday, March, 7, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
FreeSt. Mark’s Episcopal Church will hold YogaMass on Saturday, March 7 from 10AM to Noon in the sanctuary of the church. YogaMass is a unique, embodied worship integrating yoga, breathwork, meditation, and Holy Communion. It was created by The Reverend Gena Davis, priest and certified yoga educator. The practice connects the spirituality of mind, body, and spirit integration with the promise of Jesus. As part of the experience, Rev. Davis will integrate a guided meditation and crystal bowl sound bath for deep relaxation and movement into divine union. Bring a yoga mat and pillows as desired. Chairs will also be available to sit for the practice. The event is free and open to all.
Reverend Gena Davis is the author of YogaMass: Embodying Christ Consciousness for going deeper into embodied spirituality and transformation into the way of Jesus. Her latest publication is titled Yoga Prayer Cards: A Spiritual Practice of Body, Heart, Mind and Soul, a 40-card deck of yoga poses with accompanying prayers, intentions, and guided reflection questions for use in groups or personal spiritual practice. Books and card decks will be available for purchase at this event.
