Police on Tuesday night arrested a 15-year-old New Canaan girl after coming upon an underage drinking party.
At about 10:07 p.m. on Aug. 25, police received a noise complaint in the 300 block of Greenley Road, officials said.
Arriving officers saw juveniles running from the residence, according to a police report.
Inside, police found evidence of a youth party, including bottles and cans of alcoholic beverages, the report said.
The teen was charged with failure to halt possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of alcohol by a minor.
Police withheld the teen’s name because of her age.
And let me guess — they were not wearing masks or social distancing? If that was the case, additional charges should be considered for endangering public health and jeopardizing the school year for everybody else.
no it’s not a crime to not wear a mask.
