The Building Department has received an application for a 2,243-square-foot home near downtown New Canaan.
The four-bedroom house planned for 90 Kimberly Place will include three full bathrooms, one half-bath, one fireplace, an unfinished basement, exterior terrace and attached two-car garage, according to a building permit application received June 17.
It will cost about $1.4 million to construct, the application said.
The contractor on the job is Holko Renovations LLC of Sandy Hook, the architect Neil Hauck Architects of Darien.
The town in May issued a demolition permit for the 1941-built Cape-style home on the .26-acre lot. The property has been continuously owned since 1967, tax records show.
