The town Building Department on Aug. 30 received an application to build a new 7,200-square-foot home on a vacant parcel in northern New Canaan.
The six-bedroom home planned for 71 Proprietors Crossing will include five full bathrooms, two half-baths, four fireplaces and a three-bay garage, according to the application. It also will include a 1,500-square-foot basement.
It will cost about $1,050,000 to build, the application said.
The contractor on the job is Woodcrest Homes LLC of Jericho, N.Y., the architect Dennis Peters Designs of Wilton.
The four-acre parcel had been purchased in May for $1.1 million, tax records show.
