The New Canaan Building Department last week received an application to build a 6,638-square-foot home on Rosebrook Road.
The four-bedroom house at 250 Rosebrook Road will have 22 total rooms, including five full bathrooms and two-half baths, according to the application, filed Feb. 27.
It also will include a fireplace and attached three-car garage, the application said.
The home will cost about $1,315,900 to build, it said.
The contractor on the job is Coastal Luxury Homes, the architect Tanner White Architects, both of Westport.
Though there is no street address “250 Rosebrook Road” in the New Canaan assessor’s database, the project likely is planned for part of an existing lot, according to Tanner White Architects. The firm also has building plans for the 240 Rosebrook Road, officials there say.
That two-acre property had been purchased in May 2021 for $1,450,000, tax records show.
$198 SF??
Is this a building department calculation or a general contractors bid?
