Here are recent episodes of 0684-Radi0:
Congratulations, Dede, on launching the Bartlett Lecture on Moral Courage. I was especially struck by the way you define moral courage: doing what you feel is right despite the consequences or what others may think.
There is real power in sharing the stories of people who have demonstrated moral courage — showing people what it looks like when someone lives it. I also appreciated your reminder that courage does not always have to be a grand gesture — “it may just be a smile.” That makes the idea both human and accessible, and reminds us that each of us has opportunities to act with courage in our everyday lives.
I am reminded of a wonderful quote by Ethel Percy Andrus: “The human contribution is the essential ingredient. It is only in the giving of oneself to others that we truly live.”
This lecture series will be a wonderful contribution to our community.
