Police on Friday arrested a 53-year-old Hamden man by warrant in connection with a December car crash.
At about 12:54 p.m. on Dec. 21 (a Friday), officers took a complaint of a two-car crash at Main Street and East Avenue, according to a police report.
No one was injured in the crash, though one of the drivers didn’t stop after striking the complainant’s vehicle, the report said.
The complainant did follow that car and obtained a license plate number, it said.
Following an investigation, police obtained a warrant for the Hamden man’s arrest, on charges of evading responsibility and failure to obey a traffic control signal.
Police released the man after he promised to appear March 8 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
