Police on Thursday arrested a 21-year-old Whiffle Tree Lane man following a family dispute.
At about 3:22 p.m., officers received a complaint that involved a victim getting threatening comments, according to a police report.
Following an investigation, the 21-year-old was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, the report said. Both charges are misdemeanors.
It isn’t clear through what medium the comments were made, what is the relationship between the arrested man and victim, what constituted the threat or prompted officers to bring the serious reckless endangerment charge.
Under Connecticut statutes, first-degree reckless endangerment indicates that an individual has acted “with extreme indifference to human life.”
Police withheld details since the matter amounts to a family dispute.
The man was released on $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear Friday in state Superior Court in Stamford.
