New Canaan Police are investigating an untimely death on Lakeview Avenue.
Officers early Saturday morning “responded to an apartment complex at 186 Lakeview Avenue on a reported untimely death,” the department’s public information officer, Lt. Marc DeFelice, said in a press release.
The address is Canaan Parish housing complex.
Local police are investigating with Connecticut State Police, DeFelice said in the release.
“There is no concern for public safety,” he said.
It wasn’t clear when or how the death was reported, what police found on scene or whether it’s an investigation into a suspicious death. Police withheld further information.
Multiple residents of Canaan Parish reported police vehicles on scene at the housing complex since before dawn Saturday.
