Scott Gress is running for the Town Council this November.  I fully support Scott for this position.  There are a number of reasons for my vote. 

Scott grew up in this town and knows it very well.  He and his wife Susan have raised their three boys here and sent them through our public school system.  Scott spent eight years on the Board of Education with two years as Vice Chairman. He also has spent four years on the Parks and Recreation Commission serving as the Chairman.  Scott was also Chairman of the Youth Commission.  Thankfully, Scott has volunteered to run and is totally qualified.  Please vote for Sott for Town Council in November.

New Canaan resident Josh Kaye, a Democrat, is seeking election to the Board of Education. The Dems hold three of nine seats on the school board. Five seats are up for election: two currently held by Democrats, three by Republicans. There are three Democrats and three Republicans running for Board of Ed, as well as one write-in candidate. To the Editor:

As a registered Republican, active community member, and friend of Kate Brambilla, I am proud to endorse her for the Board of Education. Kate moved to New Canaan the same year my family did, and she was one of the first people we met in the East School pickup line. Her genuine interest in others and deep compassion were apparent immediately, and she made us feel at home even though she herself was new to town.
