Two new homes are planned for contiguous properties on Woodland Road, according to building permit applications submitted this month to the town.
A five-bedroom, 4,600-square-foot home is planned for 123 Woodland Road, according to an application submitted Sept. 10 to the New Canaan Building Department. It will include four full bathrooms, two half-baths and a finished basement, the application said. A 1952-built split-level home, now demolished, sat on the .91-acre property.
A six-bedroom, 6,000-square-foot home is planned for 133 Woodland Road. It will include afire full bathrooms, two half-baths and an attached two-bay garage. The .54-acre parcel had a 1927-built Colonial on it, tax records show.
Each will cost about $600,000 to build and the contractor listed on the jobs is Jason Milligan of New Canaan, the architects Darien-based Chris Hull.
Milligan owns both properties, number 133 through a limited liability company of which he’s listed as managing principal in Connecticut Secretary of the State records. Numbers 123 and 133 Woodland Road were purchased for $925,000 and $900,000, respectively, on July 21, according to tax records.
