Pumpkin and Black Plastic Take Out Container Collection at the Farmers Market
Planet New Canaan, with the help of New Canaan SLOBs, will be collecting whole pumpkins (uncarved and unpainted) as well as clean, black plastic take out containers at the New Canaan Farmers Market on Saturday, Nov. 4th between 10am to 2pm. Pumpkins will be recycled as feed for cows and black plastic take out containers will go to Food Rescue, for use in local agencies. Planet New Canaan will also collect whole pumpkins after Thanksgiving.

Can and Bottle Drive to Benefit Filling in the Blanks
Planet New Canaan, Planet New Canaan Youth Board and The Boy Scouts will be collecting redeemable bottles and cans at the New Canaan Farmers Market on Saturday, April 20th from 10am to 2pm. All proceeds will be donated to Filling In The Blanks. Plastic bottles and cans should be put in bags and glass bottles kept separate. Please email info@planetnewcanaan.org with any questions.
