Madison Starr signed to play soccer at Wagner College. Starr was one of New Canaan’s four captains as a senior, leading the offense as the Rams’ striker and making the All-FCIAC First Team in 2016. Starr was an integral part of New Canaan’s magical run to the 2015 Class LL State semifinals.

Will Conley will take his considerable football talents to Fordham University. The 6’7″, 265-lb. tackle was the anchor of an offensive line that helped protect freshman quarterback Drew Pyne and opened up holes for Ryan O’Connell and Graham Braden, as the Rams racked up 5,131 yards of offense and averaged more than 36 points per game.

Jack Kircher singed to play football at Lehigh University. The 6’3″, 263-lb. defensive end was arguably New Canaan’s top defensive player during New Canaan’s 2016 Class L title run. Kircher had 43 tackles, five sacks and forced two fumbles for a Rams defense that held opponents to just 14.3 points per game, all this despite seeing most of the opposing offenses run plays away from his side of the line.

With the addition of Starr, Conley and Kircher the class of 2017 now has 16 student athletes who have signed NLI’s. Thirteen athletes signed early letters back in October.
