Nolan Heintz, 30, of Greenwich, and Christopher Rodrigues, 22, of New Milford, “successfully endured an intensive testing and selection process including a written examination, physical agility testing, interview panel, polygraph, psychological evaluation, background investigation, medical testing, and Police Commission interview,” the department said in a press release.
Most recently employed as a Greenwich Police Department officer, Heintz started his law enforcement career with NYPD after earning a bachelor’s degree in applied psychology from Farmingdale State College. As a sworn officer with a state certification, he will undergo about seven weeks of field training with NCPD before being assigned solo patrol duties as a probationary police officer.
