As we celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday, the New Canaan Nature Center is pleased to welcome Keith Simpson for an illustrated lecture exploring the history of New Canaan. His presentation will focus on the period from 1640, when Norwalk and Stamford were first settled, to 1801, when New Canaan was officially incorporated as a town in the State of Connecticut. Join us for an engaging look at the people, places, and events that shaped our community’s early history.
