Bees, Hives, Survival and Honey
Join beekeeper, Ted Albers, and he discusses the rejuvenation of the bee hive at the Nature Center and what it takes to keep a hive healthy year round. He will also demonstrate how the honey extraction process works. Following the discussion and weather permitting, he will walk the group out to the hive. He encourages other beekeepers to come and share their experiences.

Britta Pemberton will lead this hands-on workshop where participants will decorate a box with a design created out of shells.
