A New Canaan High School student told police that two lug nuts and the “key” for the nuts that keep tires on cars went missing from his Jeep at about 10 p.m. on March 22.

The Middle Ridge Road teen said he isn’t sure whether the lug nuts and key went missing while his car was at home or at the high school, according to New Canaan Police Sgt. Carol Ogrinc.
