Police on Thursday night arrested a 29-year-old Port Chester, N.Y. woman and charged her with driving under the influence.
At about 9:39 p.m. on Dec. 16, officers were dispatched to the area of Old Stamford Road and Orchard Drive on a report of a possibly intoxicated driver, along with a description of the vehicle, according to police.
Officers found the vehicle and saw it swerving within the travel lane and across the double-yellow line, according to a police report.
During a stop, the police saw signs of impairment, and brought the misdemeanor charge. She provided a sample that established her blood-alcohol level at .123, about half again as much as the legal limit of .08, the report said.
She was released on $260 bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 6 in state Superior Court.
