Police at 10:08 p.m. Tuesday received a report of a larceny at a South Avenue home. It appeared to be a domestic situation involving family members and no charges have been brought, police said.

First Selectman Dionna Carlson during Tuesday’s Board meeting praised the New Canaan Beautification League for its work, in coordination with the Department of Public Works, in a pocket park overlooking the train station downtown. “ If you haven’t been over there, take a look, it really is much improved,” she said.
