James Franklin Dam, age 49, of Chesterfield, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 in Chesterfield, Missouri. He was born in St. Charles, Missouri on February 28, 1974 to Erik and Joan Dam (nee Flori).
Jamie was a Police Officer for O’Fallon and Frontenac Police Departments for over 16 years.
Jamie was an avid outdoorsman and hiker. He loved hockey and football, specifically the New England Patriots, Ohio State University, and St. Louis Blues. He also loved going on adventures with his kids. In his younger years, he spent many summers traveling the country with his grandparents, Frank and Florence. He also spent time camping around the U.S. with his brothers. He was proud of growing up in both Connecticut and Ohio.
Jamie is survived by his Mother, Joan Dam; Son, Brady Dam; Daughter, Isabelle Dam; Two Brothers, Erik C. (Robin) Dam, Russell (Kesinee) Dam; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Erik Dam.
Visitation will be Friday, March 1, 2024 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at West County Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 2211 Clarkson Rd, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017. A memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00pm with Father Patrick Russell officiating.
