George B. Harvey, a longtime resident of New Canaan, CT, passed away on July 2, 2026 at Stamford Hospital surrounded by his loving family. George was born in New Haven, CT on April 7, 1931 to the late Burton and Evelyn Harvey. George was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth “Beth”, who passed away on June 29, 2023. George spent his childhood in Washington, D.C. He attended the University of Bridgeport before obtaining a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1954. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, George moved to Stamford, CT, where he began his distinguished career at Pitney Bowes Inc. George joined St.
