Edit: This article was corrected to show the arrested person was a woman, not a man as originally reported.
Police last week arrested a 37-year-old Armonk, N.Y. woman and charged her with third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
At about 9:42 a.m. on June 25, officers were dispatched to a Proprietor’s Crossing residence regarding a domestic dispute between the woman and another occupant of the residence, according to a police report.
Following an investigation, police on July 2 issued a summons to the woman for the two misdemeanor-level offenses, the report said.
Under state law, a person is guilty of third-degree criminal mischief if he or she “intentionally or recklessly damages tangible property of another,” among other reason. Under state law, a person is guilty of disorderly conduct when he or she, “with intent to cause inconvenience, annoyance or alarm, engages in fighting or in violent, tumultuous or threatening behavior; or by offensive or disorderly conduct, annoys or interferes with another person,” among other reasons.
It wasn’t clear what property was damaged or what the dispute involved. Police withheld details, saying it was a domestic matter.
The woman was released after promising to appear Tuesday in state Superior Court.
