Police on March 4 arrested a 38-year-old Stratford man and charged him with driving under the influence.
At about 6:38 p.m. that Friday, officers were dispatched to Route 123 on a report of an erratic operator, police said.
The driver was pulled over in the area of New Norwalk Road and Locust Avenue, according to a police report.
After conducting standardized field sobriety tests, police brought the misdemeanor charge, the report said.
While in police custody, the man declined to undergo a breath test to establish his blood-alcohol level, it said.
He additionally was cited for failure to drive right.
Police released the man on $250 bond and scheduled him to appear March 16 in state Superior Court.
