Police late Saturday arrested a 32-year-old Stamford man and charged him with driving under the influence.
At about 10:38 p.m. on July 30, an officer on patrol saw a car parked on Lapham Road that was partially blocking the roadway, according to a police report.
On speaking with the driver, the officer found signs of impairment, the report said. After administering field sobriety tests, the man was taken into custody on the misdemeanor charge, it said. He refused to provide a sample to establish his blood-alcohol level, it said.
The man was released on $250 bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 10 in state Superior Court.
