Police after midnight Saturday arrested a 62-year-old Parade Hill Road man and charged him with driving under the influence.
At about 12:19 a.m. on Oct. 23, an officer on patrol stopped a car traveling northbound on South Avenue because it didn’t have any rear lights illuminated, according to a police report.
The officer saw signs of impairment in the driver during a subsequent stop near the intersection of Brooks Road, and brought the misdemeanor DUI charge, the report said.
The man refused to provide a sample to establish his blood-alcohol level, it said.
He additionally was cited for failure to display lights.
Police released the man on $250 bond and scheduled him to appear Nov. 23 in state Superior Court.
