Police before dawn on Tuesday arrested a 63-year-old Hampton Lane man and charged him with driving under the influence.
At about 2:45 a.m. on Oct. 18, an officer on patrol spotted a vehicle traveling north on Main Street that failed to stay in the northbound lane, according to a police report.
During a stop, the officer detected signs of intoxication in the driver, the report said.
He failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI as well as cited for failure to drive right.
Police released the man on $250 bond and scheduled him to appear Nov. 1 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
