Police last week arrested a 61-year-old Stamford woman and charged her with driving under the influence.
At about 9:14 p.m. on June 20, officers were dispatched to a two-car crash in the area of 700 Silvermine Road, according to a police report.
There, police spoke to the woman, the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the crash, the report said. She showed signs of impairment, it said.
After conducting field sobriety tests, police took her into custody and transported her to headquarters for processing on the misdemeanor charge, the report said. She provided a sample that established her blood-alcohol level at .12, half again as high as the legal limit.
Police additionally cited her for failure to keep right.
She was released on $250 bond and scheduled to appear July 19 in state Superior Court.
