Police on Tuesday night arrested a 30-year-old Trumbull man by warrant and charged him with driving under the influence, reckless driving and use and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The charges stem from an investigation into a Nov. 15 crash on Smith Ridge Road, according to a police report. The man had been operating his motor vehicle when it swerved out of the northbound lane on Smith Ridge Road and struck a car traveling southbound, the report said.
He additionally was cited for failure to drive right and turned himself in at 6:30 p.m. on March 27.
The man was released on $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear April 10 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
