New Canaan voters on Nov. 8 will cast ballots for candidates seeking elected offices including governor and lieutenant governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, state Senate and state House.

According to sample ballots issued by the Connecticut Secretary of the State: candidates for governor include Democrat Ned Lamont (incumbent), Republican Bob Stefanowski and Independent Robert Hotaling; lieutenant governor include Democrat Susan Bysiewicz (incumbent), Republican Laura Devlin and Independent Stewart “Chip” Beckett; U.S. senator include Democrat Richard Blumenthal (incumbent) and Republican Leory R. Levy; candidates for U.S. Representative (CT-4) include Democrat Jim Himes (incumbent) and Republican Jayme Stevenson; candidates for state Senate (26th) include Democrat Ceci Maher and Republican Toni Boucher, state Senate (36th) include Democrat Trevor Crow and Republican Ryan Fazio (incumbent); candidates for state House (42nd) include Democrat Keith Denning and Republican Kim Healy, state House (125th) include Democrat Victor Alvarez and Republican Tom O’Dea (incumbent), and state House (142nd) include Democrat Lucy Dathan (incumbent) and Republican Donald Mastronardi.
Other offices up for election include secretary of the state, treasurer, comptroller, attorney general and judge of probate. John Amarillos and Joan McLaughlin are appearing on the ballot as the Democratic and Republican Registrar of Voters candidates, respectively.
