Felony Larceny Charge for 48-Year-Old Man

Police last week arrested a 48-year-old Jackson Heights, N.Y. man by warrant and charged him with first-degree larceny, a felony offense. 

On March 8 (a Tuesday), officers were dispatched to 125 Elm St. on a reported theft. 

The street address is the same as a ground-floor jewelry store as well as several second-floor offices.

Following an investigation, police obtained an arrest warrant for the Queens man. 

He was processed for the charges at about 9:45 a.m. on Dec. 14, held on $250,000 bond and scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford the same day.

According to Connecticut Judicial Branch records, the same man had been arrested Dec. 13 by Westport Police in connection with a Jan. 25 incident and charged with first-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny. He also was arrested Dec. 14 by Stamford Police in connection with a March 8 incident and charged with first-degree larceny, the records show.
