A New Canaan man charged last month with disorderly conduct now has been arrested for violation of probation, a felony offense.
Police at about 10 p.m. on Oct. 19 took custody of the Millport Avenue resident via an active arrest warrant, officials said.
In the earlier Sept. 9 arrest, police arrested the man following a domestic incident and report lodged by the victim.
It’s unclear whether the probation violation is related to the same victim, what the terms of probation are or how the man violated them. Police are withholding information, saying it’s a domestic matter.
The man was released on $35,000 bond and scheduled him to appear Oct. 20 in state Superior Court.
