Kelly Sigg: It’s good. It’s really good. We are so happy to be open and I think customers are just really excited to have a shopping experience. And just been happy to get out.

What’s the response been like?

It’s been great. I think everyone is just excited to be able to go into a store and experience shopping.

What do you think of what they’ve done on the street to help expand the outdoor dining?

It’s so nice to see people enjoying themselves and being outside. It’s great for the restaurants. Anything helps.

What do your customers want the most? What are they most interested in?

Mostly graduation gifts and birthday gifts. Some people are picking up Mother’s Day presents because they weren’t able to shop. We had a couple of those the last couple of days. So that’s been really cute.

You’re open 10 to 6, so you’re not doing your late Thursday night hours at this point?

We’ll think about that maybe in a couple of weeks.

What’s your message to Pennyweights customers?

Come on in. We are all ready to see you and say hello.
