Police on Friday night arrested a 19-year-old Stamford man on misdemeanor drug and motor vehicle charges following a traffic stop in New Canaan.
At about 8:50 p.m. on July 29, an officer stopped a vehicle traveling northbound on Ponus Ridge because it was not displaying its license plate, according to a police report.
During the stop, police conducted an investigation and would up charging the teen with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, without insurance or a license, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released after promising to appear Aug. 11 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
