Police last week cited a 29-year-old Norwalk man for minor drug violations after finding pot and smoking gear in his car during a traffic stop.
At about 5:04 p.m. on Jan. 25, an officer spotted a vehicle traveling northbound on White Oak Shade Road with no front license plate, according to a police report.
During a subsequent stop, the officer smelled the odor of marijuana coming out of the car, the report said.
An investigation turned up marijuana, a grinder and plastic “mock” cigarette used to smoke the drug, it said.
Police issued an infraction summons for possession of less than .5 ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
