Nancy Colson, 50, of Revere, MA, formerly of New Canaan, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2022, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Stamford, CT on March 2, 1972, to Roger and Charlotte Colson. She was raised in New Canaan and was a graduate of New Canaan High School Class of 1991 and Curry College in 1995, with a major in English and Communications. Nancy was a wonderful athlete. She earned varsity letters and awards in soccer throughout her years in high school and college.
After college, she went on to work at Nantucket Nectars as an administrative assistant to the founders of that company. She also worked at Tivoli Audio and Gensyme. Nancy was an avid reader and very fond of her two cats, Lulu and Peanuts. She was very social and touched the lives of many, always putting the needs of others before her own. Those who knew and loved her would describe her as being fun, warm, kind and caring and whose sparkling blue eyes and bright smile would light up a room. She very much cherished her friends and family.
Nancy is survived by her parents and a brother, Roger Colson Jr. (wife, Amy) and their two children: Charlie (17) and Sophie (14). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and many cousins in France, Switzerland and the United States. She will be sorely missed by everyone.
A memorial service is planned. Donations in memory of Nancy can be sent to the ASPCA of the United States.

Sending much love to Nancy’s family. I can picture her on the NCHS soccer field, and smiling and laughing with friends in school. She really was such a fun-loving and kind person. So very sorry and sad to learn of her untimely death.
