Dear ABC Group of New Canaan,

I would like to make a small donation of 200 dollars to the ABC Group of New Canaan. I raised this money by tutoring at a Math Club. I coach stuents in grades 3-5 for national level math contests like AMC, Mathcounts etc. on Saturday afternoons.

You can read more about our clubs at http://gifted.wordpress.com/fairfield-math-club/

I am donating to ABC because I firmly believe that education is the greatest social equalizer as people of all races, income level and gender can benefit from it and improve their lives. I look around and see that the people who do well in life are given a good start through education. My parents have provided me with all the resources necessary to pursue higher education and I want to share these with others.

In New Canaan, ‘A Better Chance’ or ABC as I know your organization, is changing lives through educational opportunities. I personally know some of your students and how grateful they are for this opportunity. I firmly believe in supporting organizations that “teach a man to fish” rather than give him fish. I would like to continue to support ABC and work towards making this ooportunity available to more children in the future.

I hope that this donation will help towards achieving your goal. Please contact me if you need more details.

Sincerely,

“Jai” Anenya Ansh

New Canaan High School (Grade 9)
